
Mike Tabone is from Orlando Florida and has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Florida Atlantic University. Mike is the current Director of Bands at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana. Prior to his appointment as Director of Bands. Mike was the Associate Director of Bands at Cypress Creek High School, where he directed the Symphonic Band and Percussion Ensemble. Under his leadership, the Cypress Creek Percussion Ensemble was selected to perform at the prestigious Music for All National Percussion Festival in 2023. Mike currently serves as the music arranger, and sound designer for Cypress Creek High School. Mike has served as an Audio Engineer for Spirit of Atlanta and The Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps an as the Director of Infinity Percussion 2 where he has helped lead the ensemble into world class. Mike is an active member of several professional organizations, including NAfME, FBA, FMEA, and LMEA and is proud to serve as an educator and clinician for Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo and D’Addario Musical Instruments. Mike is happily married to his wife Jackie and has two dogs Porgy and Gil.
