Nicole is a Virginia native and a versatile professional in the marching arts, with experience as a clinician, designer, technician, and visual instructor for scholastic and independent guards, marching bands, drum corps, and indoor drumlines across the East Coast, Midwest, and Texas. She also works closely with programs through Fruhauf Uniforms, Guard Closet/ Design Closet, supporting educators with design and performance needs.
Nicole’s performance background includes Revelation Winterguard, the Patriots Drum Corps (DCI Division II Gold Medalist), World Class Patriots Winterguard, and DCA ensembles including the Rochester Crusaders and Empire Statesmen. She has taught since the early 2000s in multiple states and discovered her passion for education at the Mid-Atlantic Marching Band Camp.
She is the founder of The Cookout, a Council Member of Our Marching Counts, a member of the WGI DEI Committee, host of the podcast On A Waterbreak, and an active marching band and winterguard adjudicator. Nicole worked with The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps during the 2024 and 2025 seasons and currently resides in Cincinnati, OH, where she is a strong advocate for mental health and well-being.
