Chuck Henson is recognized by hundreds of thousands of band members and fans as the “Voice” of Bands of America Championships, for which he has been announcing since 1987. His introduction to Bands of America began in 1984 as a color guard clinician at Music for All’s Summer Symposium. Chuck has also served on Music for All’s communications and sponsorship staff.
Originally from Florence, Kentucky, Chuck is an alumnus of the Boone County High School Band and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Journalism, and he has been recognized by the State of Kentucky as a “Kentucky Colonel.”

Chuck was inducted into the Bands of America Hall of Fame in 2012 and is currently a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Florida, living in St Petersburg.
